THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Ruth's Chris Steak House Restaurant Review:
Prime USDA beef and a first-rate location are the hallmarks of the Philly outpost of this well-known chain. Ideally situated for access to theater and concerts, Ruth's Chris serves butter-drenched steaks seared at 1,800 degrees, oversize lobster tails and rich mac ‘n’ cheese and creamed spinach --- all in portions that have made it famous from coast-to-coast. The service is geared to getting patrons out the door for theater or meetings, so if you're not rushed make a point to say so to set a leisurely pace. They're not blazing any culinary trails here, but then, why should they? There's no reason to mess with a good steak cooked at blazing temperatures and a mammoth baked potato. Bread pudding with whiskey sauce speaks to the restaurant's original New Orleans roots.
