SAGARDI BCN Gòtic Restaurant Review:
SAGARDI BCN Gòtic in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter draws inspiration from traditional Basque taverns and cider houses. Guests have the option of getting a quick bite to eat in the tapas bar or enjoying a sit-down meal in the full-service restaurant. The former features a buffet of pintxos (small snacks) speared with toothpicks --- make sure to hold on to those as they'll be counted to add up the bill. In the more formal dining area, there's an open-style kitchen and plenty of nooks and crannies. Stone walls, brick archways and wood beams bring a rustic feeling. There's also a terrace for outdoor dining. Among the starters, you'll find Iberian ham croquettes, fried txistorra (sausages) and grilled black pudding with piquillo peppers. Continue with typical Spanish main courses, including grilled seafood or steaks. The Spanish wine list is heavy on Rioja. Other locations.
