THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saigon Palace Restaurant Review:
Bite for bite, it's hard to beat Vietnamese food for value and flavor. From spring rolls to steaming bowls of flavorful broth and noodles, Saigon Palace intrigues with a variety of textures and tastes. Start with chef-owner Michael Cuong's fresh rolls, made from softened rice wrappers stuffed with noodles, vegetables, meat and seafood. Move on to mi bo kho, a thick, spicy stewed beef with egg noodles, and the bun oc, a soup-style preparation with slivers of conch, lemongrass and a bit of spicy heat. Don’t miss the bun tom xao sate, a stir-fry of shrimp, vegetables and vermicelli. Pho delivers a rich, complex broth, quite satisfying on a cold day. Service is fine and the prices are right at this shopping center restaurant.
