Sakura Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar is a neighborhood spot for sushi and Japanese food in West Los Angeles --- and a great value, too. As you walk in, you'll notice aquariums full of fish. (They're for admiring, not for eating.) On the right are tables, and on the other side are booths. Head towards the back of the restaurant if you want to snag a spot at the sushi bar. Diners can expect to find sweet shrimp nigiri among the specials, along with all the expected sushi rolls, like spicy tuna, dragon roll, spider roll, etc. The combination sunomono comes with cucumber salad and an assortment of fresh seafood, including shrimp and octopus. Udon soup is also a popular option. Service is fast and efficient.
