Sammy's Pizza Restaurant Review:
Close to Lambeau Field, this family-owned restaurant and pizzeria, which opened in 1958, is a good stop for anyone, anytime, who wants good old-fashioned Italian fare. With checkered tablecloths and a throwback red-sauce menu, you'll feel as if you've stepped into a vintage Italian restaurant --- and that's a good thing. Generous portions of salads, house-made pastas, including ravioli and gnocchi, and submarine sandwiches keep this place in business. Luckily for those who like the food but have smaller appetites, smaller portions at reduced prices are also an option. Enjoy Sammy's special pie --- sausage, onion and green peppers --- or thick, rich lasagna that would make momma proud.
