Sanpoutei Restaurant Review:
Sanpoutei on 2nd Avenue is the first NYC outpost of the restaurant that’s owned by Sanpou Group, which has more than 50 locations in Japan, Singapore and Canada. Soy sauce ramen, or shoyu ramen, is the specialty, and dishes like Sichuan peppercorn edamame and spicy Sichuan-braised beef are also served. Gyoza is available, too.
