THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sassolini Restaurant Review:

A few years ago, Naples-native Danilo Bianco opened a grocery store/restaurant that he judiciously dubbed Danilo. Just a few yards away is Sassolini, his second establishment, done in shades of brown, red and white, and with upholstered banquettes and an open kitchen. Italian favorites compose the menu: osso buco, vitello tonnato and linguine alle vongole. For a compelling meal, indulge in the octopus salad and choose one of the ten pizzas, notably the Napoletana with marjoram, mozzarella and garlic. For dessert, a disappointing note is brought out by the watery tiramisu. But everything else is utterly tasty.
