THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Saveur Restaurant Review:
Dominique Macquet is a locally-beloved chef. These days, he helms the kitchen at Saveur, an intimate, low-key white tablecloth restaurant on an increasingly high-traffic restaurant row. The entrée selection is limited but well thought out, especially in regard to sautéed redfish with cheddar cauliflower. Meat lovers may have a hard time deciding between the slow-roasted lamb shank and the highly seasoned jerk pork shoulder, but it’s a nice dilemma. Select a buttery Chardonnay from the compact wine list and save some of it to go with the doberge cake that uses Key lime as its foundation flavor.
