: This sliver of a restaurant is good to know about, whether you work in downtown Beverly Hills or enjoy a sushi break while you’re giving your credit card a rest. Little more than a plain wood sushi bar and a row of small tables, some contemporary wall sculptures give the place a little style. Among its many rolls is the rock shrimp tempura wrapped in soy paper --- hardly novel but very nicely done --- and most sushi is good quality and generously cut. Among sashimi plates, there’s seared ono with garlic ponzu and the curiously named “donut,” which is tuna topped with spicy shrimp. Combination plates with teriyaki and tempura are available, as well as mochi ice cream to finish. |
