Schaffer's Camp Restaurant Review:
Schaffer's Camp presents American cuisine at Northstar California Resort, a rustic mountain lodge setting. Located at the end of the Zephyr Express lift, the restaurant is only accessible via ski, snowcat or gondola. (Note that the restaurant is only open for lunch for Tahoe Mountain Club members and their guests.) If weather permits, diners can sit out on the deck with views of the Truckee River. Menu offerings include salads, sandwiches, house-made pastas and rotisserie chicken. Schaffer's Camp also offers a soup, salad and pizza buffet.
