THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Scotty's on 39th Restaurant Review:

Scotty is Scott Warren, the former chef at Macaluso's. When that beloved restaurant closed, Warren took over the place. He renovated the dining room, kept a few Macaluso favorites (look for the crab cakes), but he also put his own spin on the menu. Part of the renovation included installing a smoker. Now, “smoyster” oysters are battered, pan-fried and served with a white wine mustard cream sauce. Double-cut pork chops are topped with an apple-port sauce and served with mashed potatoes. Beyond smoke and fire, Warren fries up cod filets and serves them with a caper slaw and sherried new potatoes. The three-egg omelet stuffed with Explorateur cheese and dabbed with sautéed mushrooms, tomatoes and onions is accompanied by slices of venison sausage, making it one of the most adventurous entrées. A decent wine list features Francois Montand Blanc de Blanc Champagne and Cosentino's The Med, made from the juice of nine grapes.
