: Fresh baked bread, house-made mozzarella, garlic soup and specialties such as “Shrimp, Clams and Mussels Scusa” have made this nicely appointed Italian restaurant one of the mainstays in a resort town that regularly sees restaurants come and go in a single season. Well-prepared Italian favorites paired with a casually elegant atmosphere, where you are as likely to sit next to someone in jeans as you are someone donning more elegant attire, has been the formula for Scusa’s more than 20 years in business. Expanding the place to seat more than 100 has done little to change the offerings, and al fresco dining in the summer at one of the bistro tables is a welcome addition. Wine selections include regional and Italian labels, and the knowledgeable staff will gladly pair wines with dinner. Save room for the chocolate chip cannoli or the tiramisu. Scusa also offers whole-wheat and gluten-free pasta options so everyone can indulge in a taste of Italy. |
