Seafire Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Seafire Steakhouse, located at the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island, is a good fit for diners looking for the comforts of a contemporary cosmopolitan restaurant. High ceilings, lots of tile work and a display kitchen add drama. The steakhouse menu features some locally inspired starters of creamy Bahamian conch chowder and Andros crab and lobster cake alongside classics such as Caesar salad and beef carpaccio. For the main course, choose from New York strip steak, braised Wagyu short ribs, pork chop Oscar and veal chop, or seafood preparations such as tamarind-glazed salmon and jumbo shrimp flamed with vodka. A side order of Seafire fries comes with jerk mayonnaise. Weary vacationers might find a cure for homesickness in warm apple cobbler or Key lime tart for dessert. The wine list is robust, with a serious selection of Champagnes. There’s also a vibrant bar scene with imbibers indulging in traditional and signature cocktails like the gingered bourbon lemonade and a Manhattan. Service is professional and efficient.
