THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Seahorse Tavern Restaurant Review:
An inviting after-hours bar (happy hour nibbles include $1 oysters) with authentic New England seafood choices for lunch and dinner, The Seahorse Tavern has credentials linking the owner to the Fulton Fish Market and its furnishings to the original Coney Island boardwalk and other nautical locales. This little gem has some of the best fried oysters in town, a lobster roll that’s a serious contender in a city crazy for the crustacean, and other solid dishes like the grilled shrimp salad with sesame dressing, and even a killer roast chicken. Local beers are on draft and wines by the glass are also available. For dessert, the passion fruit mousse is a treat.
