THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Seven Restaurant Review:

In the mood for some serious cocktails and a juicy steak, we headed for Seven, an upscale American restaurant and bar in the heart of Hillcrest. After the liquid portion of our meal (read: mojito martinis) we moved from the sociable bar to a private, black leather booth to better examine the food menu. Sumptuous soups and a wide variety of salads are offered, but we skipped straight to the good stuff: filet mignon smothered in truffle demi-glace with garlic mashed potatoes. Last stop---dessert, where the rich chai latte crème brûlée rounded out a deliciously decadent meal. Mission accomplished, we planned for our next visit...soon, very soon.
