THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Shallots Restaurant Review:

This is one deliciously conceived Kosher restaurant. Having said that, let us say that if you didn’t know it was kosher you would say, Wow, this is very creative Mediterranean food. Pleasing décor, white tablecloths, table candles, elegant tableware. It had better be nice, because the prices are up there. There are two entrées in particular that we believe illuminate the menu: Chilean sea bass in a spicy tomato/fennel broth, and the lamb tagine with couscous. The cuisine strictly follows kosher law. The restaurant is closed for the Sabbath---from Friday at sundown until Saturday at sundown.
