SHAN Social House Restaurant Review:
SHAN Social House in Beverly Hills inhabits a dramatically stunning setting, which has been used as a filming location in "The Green Hornet" and other projects. Centuries-old houses were disassembled in Japan, shipped here, and then reassembled to create this multi-story compound, complete with gardens. The restaurant showcases Japanese-style chukka cuisine and Wagyu beef specialties. Dishes include crab sunomono, sushi and sashimi samplers, sea cucumber, uni tempura, premium Wagyu filet mignon and rib-eye (from Japan), and seafood or beef shabu shabu. Expect a few draft beers, a luxe sake list and Japanese whisky.
