THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Shilla Korean Restaurant Restaurant Review:
This is a remarkably upscale Korean restaurant---glass walls, green marble, black lacquer---and, as Korean restaurants go, quite expensive, even charging à la carte for the little dishes of kimchi and vegetable namool that simply come with the meal at most Korean eateries. The food is exceptional: a hearty kal bi (barbecue ribs), delicious bindaybok (a beef-and-green-onion pancake) and, best of all, a jun kol, a stew brimming with fresh seafood and red pepper. A hot time is guaranteed for all. Forget wine. Try sujo, the national drink, a kind of sweet potato vodka, drunk in shot glasses. A few glasses and even the seafood jun kol wont faze you.
