THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Shintaro Restaurant Review:
This is an all-inclusive Japanese restaurant with an emphasis on seafood. The design is striking and original and a mixture of old Japan and modern futurist America. Just inside the entrance is a gorgeous sushi bar backed by an aquarium wall with live fish and jellyfish. Tabletop cooking is presented with flair at the dramatically hooded teppan tables. The multi-course Japanese feast known as kaiseki can run as high as a prix-fixe option here. On the à la carte menu, try the piquant seafood soup created with scallops, shrimp and littleneck clams. We like the grilled Tasmanian salmon with saké-roasted peppers and lemon grass. Save room for a dessert such as chocolate fudge-filled green tea crème brûlée.
