Shula's Steak House Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: Even though the name may be familiar --- the restaurant is named after the former head coach for the Miami Dolphins football team --- the restaurant chain has established a reputation of its own.
> EDITOR'S NOTE: We are sad to learn that Don Shula passed away on May 4, 2020. Shula reached the Super Bowl six times and posted a 347-173 record in his 33 seasons as a head coach.
About the food & drinks: The steaks are always reliable but should not be the only focus of attention. Appetizers include Shula's steak soup, definitely worth a try. There is also seafood, lamb and chicken on the menu. The well-appointed interior seems appropriate for a steak challenge of the type this restaurant offers: choices of a 12-ounce filet mignon, 24-ounce Porterhouse, 22-ounce cowboy, 20-ounce Kansas City sirloin, 16-ounce New York sirloin and 10-ounce steak Mary Anne.
