Reminiscent of an earlier America, the Silver Diner offers individual juke boxes, fifties music and down-home cooking at very affordable prices. No matter at what hour you stop in, booths and counter stools are filled, but the turnover is quick, and you can always order take-out. We always return for the chocolate cream pie and the classic meatloaf meal, but the menu is extensive, and you’ll find plenty to please. The management has also modernized the menu, so expect to find light fare and plenty of salads. Breakfast service starts at the crack of dawn and lasts all day. Other locations.
