Reminiscent of an earlier America, the Silver Diner offers individual jukeboxes, ’50s music and down-home cooking at affordable prices. It’s no surprise that everyone from students to grandparents loves this place. No matter what hour you stop in, booths and counter stools are filled, but the turnover is quick, and you can always order takeout. We go back for the classic meatloaf and the chocolate cream pie, but the menu is extensive, and there’s plenty to please. You’ll find light fare as well, including lots of salads.
