THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Singapore Bistro Restaurant Review:

Taking over the setting of the earlier Café Asia downtown, a once-popular lunch and dinner destination, is this spin-off, with its similar menu but somewhat redesigned interior. Yes, the metal staircase still leads to the loft-like seating up several flights, but the sushi bar has moved to the back. This opens up the central area for more tables and for enough folks to sample the eclectic fare. In fact, you can tour Asia right from your seat: Start with the very hot and peppery Szechuan spicy ravioli (these may be incendiary), and move on to Japanese sushi, Indonesian gado gado (its version is spectacular, and right on the money), Thai green curry, Singaporean satay lontong, Malaysian curry laksa (we've had better) and Vietnamese lemon grass beef. All that's missing is Burma, Cambodia and Laos from this mix to complete the tour.
