Sisters Thai Restaurant Review

About the restaurant: Welcome to another version of this wildly diverse Thai eatery that takes traditional flavors and gives them some modern tweaks. What makes this group so interesting is the restaurant setting: comfortable like an old shoe --- only, of course, it’s a casual dining room.

Likes: Tasty and authentic treats.
Dislikes: Too small.

Food & Drinks: The menu makes some interesting changes to Thai flavors with such offerings as bikini shrimp (shrimp wrapped in spring roll wrappers and deep-fried) and the Donald roll (fried boneless duck with scallions wrapped with roti) as appetizers. Main dishes are more in line with typical fare, so patrons can order lemongrass soup, Drunken Noodles or assorted curries and get the full-packed Thai goodness one hopes for. Among the desserts are mango and sticky rice (a Thai classic), Key lime cheesecake (not so Thai) and mango cheesecake (sort of Thai). Beverages include Thai iced tea and Thai ice coffee plus more standard Western drinks.
