Skewers offers a mixed-up menu that blends Persian, Pakistani and Indian tandoori foods, but what really takes a blue ribbon are its breads and the curry dish on the specials menu. Be sure to order several extra pieces of bread---you'll want them for the curry---and the mango lassi, more thick milkshake than yogurt drink and a real winner. The hummus and tahini appetizer and dessert gulab jamun are also worthy adjuncts to anyone's meal.
