Sorella Restaurant Review:

Chef Mary Ann Vitale from longtime La Taverna on Silverado opened this sister restaurant-cum-deli in response to her regular customers' cries for more of her simple but notable food. Grab a morning bagel or pastry, a nice salad for lunch, or load up on picnic or after-work fare. We like her homemade, peppery sausages, Parmesan chicken, pizzas, gourmet sandwiches and, of course, the beloved La Taverna salad of baby greens, walnuts and goat cheese with cranberry vinaigrette. Desserts are worth a trip alone, especially the light coconut and banana layer cakes.
