Sosho, meaning south of Shoreditch, is a spin-off of the ever-popular Matchbar in Clerkenwell. The sequel, much like the original, is sleek and sexy with agile bartenders who toss their shakers like Tom Cruise in Cocktail. The City location, with less crowded streets after dark, gives the bar an underground feel despite its immense popularity. Crowds of beautiful people keep the upstairs bar jam-packed while a private room downstairs is the perfect place to lounge around on sofas.
