South Philly Bar & Grill is the rare neighborhood sports bar that pairs mega flat-screens with good food. Beyond the expected (but house-made) array of sliders, wings and cheesesteaks, enjoy all-you-can-eat mussels over pasta on Monday nights, plus barbecue ribs and chicken, and pizza topped with prosciutto, fresh basil and portobellos. And about that cheesesteak: You can also get finely sliced beef topped with the likes of Gorgonzola or pepperoni, or even Cuban-style with pickles and spicy mustard. Big, hearty portions define most of the menu, but there’s a chicken Caesar if you're looking for something (a little) lighter.
