Once a three-location local chain, Spiced Right now is a single restaurant operation in historic Roswell. Décor emphasizes a country rustic feel. While the brisket is quite good, the focus is on the ribs, tender and showing the pinkness of having been smoked over wood, and birds, that is, chickens, available in either quarters or halves. Pulled pork seems dry and under-seasoned. Do not miss the corn soufflé, and the fresh-tasting Brunswick stew is about as good as it gets these days. The only dessert is banana pudding, but devote your calories elsewhere. Brews are the quaff of choice. Breakfast is a variety of biscuits with various classic fillings, from sausage to egg, and bacon to brisket. Live blues starts at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
