THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Station Restaurant Review:

This 1876 train station-turned-restaurant not only has railroad memorabilia hanging from every available space, but also a wall of windows where the platform used to be, so diners get a ringside seat when trains rumble by. The lunch and dinner menu runs the gamut from light-bite quiche and salads to hearty and trendy Tex-Mex, beef, chicken, pasta and fish entrées. Service at chef-owner Bob Sutton’s establishment is small-town friendly. The “from the smoker” section of the menu affords St. Louis-style ribs, Carolina pulled pork, Texas smoked beef brisket and the “mombo combo,” a sampler of each barbecued selection. Dessert highlights are cheesecake and the inevitable crème brûlée, but if you’re in the mood for total indulgence, order the peanut butter pie and go home happy.
