Stein's Market & Deli Restaurant Review:

Fully reminiscent of the best NY delis, Stein’s occupies a tight space, so you may find yourself sitting right up against a refrigerated cooler or directly in the path of customers trying to shop the crowded grocery shelves, but that's all part of the deli experience. The menu ranges through the traditional treats: lean and flavorful kosher corned beef; chopped liver; kosher salami; smoked salmon; lox; pickled tomatoes; and peppery pastrami. But there’s more to behold. Stein’s 50-plus cheeses include a good year-old manchego. And what deli would be complete without a full selection of Dr. Brown's sodas, among them, of course, cream soda? The beer list features dozens of brews from as close as Abita, Louisiana, to as far away as the Netherlands and Japan. Oh, and Davidovich bagels are brought in directly from New York City. For dessert, treat yourself to Erica’s rugelach and macaroons, straight from Brooklyn.
