About the restaurant: STK’s tagline is "Not your daddy's steakhouse." This outpost is located at the W Los Angeles – West Beverly Hills, and there are branches across the globe.

Food & Drinks: The meat-centric menu offers grilled steaks in three sizes, but even a "small" New York strip weighs in at ten ounces. Lighter eaters can nibble on an eight-ounce skirt steak or petit filet. Each steak comes with a sauce like a satisfying herb béarnaise or creamy horseradish; optional toppings of shrimp, crab or lobster tail seem like gilding the lily. There are plenty of seafood options among the appetizers, salads and entrées. Try the Parmesan truffle fries as a side, and end with donuts if you saved room. The wine list, which explains each varietal, emphasizes California wines. Start with a signature cocktail such as the strawberry cobbler --- Belvedere and muddled fresh strawberries with a graham cracker crusted rim.
