Décor isn't the main draw at this simply arranged, practically composed Indian restaurant. But the food is what you come for. Shajon Miah is the chef-owner, and his cooking operates at a high level of quality, resulting in dishes that impress for their fresh flavors, abundance and authenticity. Start with any of several chaats, which could make a light meal. Shrimp dishes are a standout, especially the one served in a fairly spicy ginger garlic sauce. Tamarind eggplant is just one of many vegetarian selections, and we liked the okra offering as well. Chicken and lamb preparations all hit high notes. We tasted a wide variety of dishes, from meat to seafood and vegetable. Nothing disappointed. If you want wine, bring your own, and bring glasses, too. Otherwise, enjoy a hot tea.
