Summits Wayside has gone whole hog on sausages, and offers an entire menu page of various sausages in both starters and sandwiches. But there’s a good Reuben with house-made corned beef, too. A raft of burgers, which are available made with American Kobe beef for a $4 upcharge, unfortunately may not be ordered less done than medium, except the prime burger. Wings and things, sundry nosh fare and hefty specials mean one can use the place for a variety of dining purposes. The rustic apple tart seems like the right meal ender in these circumstances. From the topnotch beer menu, we like to order the sample sizes and parade through a variety of offbeat selections from various countries. Choices include high gravities and there are lots on tap.
