THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sushi Bali Restaurant Review:
So much for the Thai-sushi combo that seems to dominate the South Florida restaurant scene these days. Sushi Bali stands out simply by being different. But the Indonesian fare that comprises one-half the menu here is also complex and exciting. Though initially overshadowed by the sushi bar and the Japanese menu, which are also good if run-of-the-mill, rich and zesty items such as mie pangsit (egg noodle soup with meatball and deep-fried wonton), ikan pesmol (snapper with Balinese red sauce) or gulai kambing (lamb meat in curry sauce with vegetables) are certainly more viable palate memories once you’ve experienced them.
