THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Sushi on the Rock Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS A true California eatery, Sushi on the Rock is packed full of young, adventurous surfer and snowboarding types year-round. With loud music, modern décor, a smart saké list and sushi creations that push the limits, it's no wonder getting a table takes so long. The 911 roll caught our attention. It kicks spicy tuna up a notch with its use of fiery sriracha sauce. We liked the gorgeous Orange Crush roll with its combination of crunchy asparagus and silky avocado that is tobiko-wrapped in salmon, but the Barrio roll, which fuses Latin flavors like cilantro and serrano chile with tuna, is hands down the most unique.
