: This cozy gem is furnished with banquettes and tables covered with lace and decorated with antique Swiss and German posters, coffee grinders and miners' lamps. For starters, try the shrimp bisque, the shrimp scampi with herb-garlic sauce and artichoke or the pâté Champagne. The Swiss fondue, created with Gruyère, pepperjack, Romano and Parmesan cheeses, is always a rich experience. Pasta dishes---primavera, Alfredo and lobster with crab meat---are popular, both as appetizer and entrée. Dinners, served with homemade spätzle or rosti (Swiss potatoes), include the house salad. Among chef-owner Wolfgang Haubold’s specialties are the St. Moritz schnitzel---veal Cordon Bleu stuffed with imported ham and Swiss cheese, roast duckling with raspberry sauce and Bavarian rib chop stuffed with crab meat dressing. Lunch favorites are the signature salad (mixed greens with chicken, shrimp and artichokes with Ranch dressing), chicken crêpes with wild mushroom sauce, the Swiss meatball sandwich and chicken Benedict topped with béarnaise. Save room for the apple strudel and carrot cake.
