When this spot opened some twenty years ago, we were shocked to see long lines almost nightly. Today, we're no less nonplussed to find Boston's first Friday's still going strong. Must be those taste bud-drubbing “Mudslides.” A true jack-of-all-trades, the kitchen turns out chicken strips and baby-backs, fajitas and fried mozzarella, pastas and burgers, low-carb entrées and gobs of desserts laden with brand-name cookies and candies---just the stuff for harried families, hurried workers and starving students.
