If you live in DC or Virginia, eating here means a trek on the Beltway, but you won’t be sorry you made the drive. Savor the authentic Mexican tacos, especially of tongue, of carnitas (roasted pork cubes) and of chorizo. These are only three from among the 11 different taco fillings on offer, and you’ll rejoice not only at the food, but that the restaurant’s prices are so low you can eat maybe a dozen tacos. But save room for the pupusas and chicken mole. This is a real gold mine, and we feel only slightly puzzled by the obvious Central American dishes such as the yuca con chicharron and the pupusas. By the way, the pastel de tres leches (cake with three different milks) is first-rate.
