Former Devi chef Suvir Saran has opened Tapestry in the West Village. The eatery blends the cuisines of India, Mexico and the Mediterranean. On the menu are sea bass ceviche and masala fried chicken with a peanut slaw and aloo bharta. Beer and wine are available, along with cocktails like the Kashmir Valley blending vodka and red pepper corn, lime, dill and cucumber.
