THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Taqueria No Que No Restaurant Review:
In typical taqueria fashion, No Que No offers a broad range of breakfast tacos---that South Texas morning staple, regardless of ones ethnic background. Potato with egg, cheese or beans, with a ranchera sauce, or with bacon or chorizo is a staple; more exotic to many palates is the machacado (shredded, air-dried beef) and the barbacoa (dont ask). But the breakfast plates such as migas, a borderland favorite of scrambled corn chips with egg, should please everyone; this one comes with home-fried potatoes and refried beans---plus handmade corn tortillas. Add liberal lashings of salsa from your favorite of three on the table. Lunch plates tend more to emphasize the taquerias claim of autentica comida estilo Guanajuato, or authentic cuisine from the state of Guanajuato, and the nopales verdes o rojos (cactus paddle in a red or green chile sauce) are a case in point.
