For years, Kua Aina was, hands down, the best burger stand on Oahu, but Teddy’s---just a hop, skip and a jump out of Waikiki---is a serious challenger. If Kua Aina burgers are health-food style, full of plenty of produce, Teddy’s are classics. Grilled to order, with lettuce, onion, pickle, tomato and special sauce (mayo-based). It all brings back California burgers, circa 1965. There’s hardly anywhere to sit here, so your best bet is take-out. Remember to take out an order each of the garlic and the spicy fries as well.
