THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Teplitzky's Restaurant Review

: Teplitzky’s, named for The Chelsea Hotel’s original proprietors, offers diner-inspired food in unique environs that also include a coffee shop and hideaway cocktail lounge. Order apple and pecan whole-wheat waffles from the Rise and Shine menu in the a.m., or enjoy a roasted eggplant sandwich with layers of red peppers and feta cheese tucked into fresh baked focaccia at noon. Share an order of the monkey bread for dessert; this cinnamon pull-apart brioche comes still warm from the oven with an array of dipping sauces. Then again, you might just want to hang out in the lounge where they concoct a killer banana chocolate swirl, a creative cocktail made with banana, chocolate syrup, Stoli vanilla and crème de cocoa.
