A bar on the ground floor and a restaurant with live music upstairs, Ternes 43 targets a young audience in need of entertainment. Arnaud Van Santen, a young chef with an established career, concocts jazzy cooking striking both sweet and savory chords with dishes such as spiced caramel-glazed nems with foie gras, tuna steak with caramelized endives, and duck cooked two ways with honey-lacquered turnips. For dessert, there's a very good prune soup with cinnamon ice cream. Count on €45 à la carte.
