Chef-owner Nongkran Daks has carried her special Thai magic even further out to the suburbs with a reproduction of her notable menu in a more visible location. Slightly more polished and upscale than her other restaurant in Chantilly, this Thai Basil features all the favorites, but of special interest are the pad thai, made the old-fashioned way, and the crispy duck. Every dish is true to Thai flavors, and portions are never skimpy. Daks finds herself cooking in both spots, letting the Ashburn neighborhood know that classic Thai cooking is alive and well.
