THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Thai Jasmine Bistro Restaurant Review:
Yet another Thai restaurant hits the suburban boards, and this one may succeed where others have failed. Why? Good portions, decent flavors and a charming atmosphere combine to spell success. Stop in for a midday meal (note that lunch and dinner menus are identical except in price) and order up a mini-feast starting with the tod mun (fish cakes) and the fairly good crispy duck salad. Of course, an order of pad thai is almost a prerequisite and this one stands up pretty well to the competition. And to end, crispy soft-shell crabs and red duck curry, a dish to be enjoyed until the cows come home. Most of the desserts are fairly predictable but for a nice taste treat, order up the fried banana in an egg roll wrapper and drenched in sweet syrup.
