THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Thirteen Elephants Restaurant Review:

A quirky little spot in Old Pasadena, this high-ceilinged, lavender-and-purple room is filled with sculptures, photos and illustrations of its namesake pachyderms, including some impressive Thai murals. The eclectic menu is international, with an emphasis on Belgian cuisine (crispy frites with a variety of dipping sauces and the country's signature creamy stew, chicken waterzooi). American breakfasts are served, a curious nutmeg-dusted rendition of a croque monsieur and a reasonably authentic Cuban sandwich.
