THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES 3 Angels on Broad Restaurant Review:
Chef Julio Zuniga adds world flair to the tapas, pastas and sandwiches served at this casual diner. Formerly owned by Zuniga’s sister-in-law, 3 Angels on Broad has had a bit of a menu makeover since Zuniga and his wife Amy assumed the reins. Some of the old favorites, like the half-pound Colossus Burger with Gouda, slaw and crispy fried onions, and the daily rotating array of fresh seasonal vegetables, have remained. But now there are lighter small plates: lemon grass shrimp; mozzarella-stuffed portobello mushrooms. Pasta dishes such as the Angel Zarzuela, angel hair with seafood in a Spanish broth, showcase the restaurant’s emphasis on fusion cuisine. A number of vegetarian options are on offer, but the number of vegan items has shrunk since the takeover. Wine selections are minimal, but there is a full bar.
