You can’t miss the flaming woks as you go past any of the branches of Tiger Lil’s; they flare up dramatically every few minutes. This is one of the decent semi self-service places in London; you help yourself from a large selection of meat, fish and vegetables, then get it cooked with flavours like garlic and chilli. It can taste metallic; but it’s fun so no one seems to mind, and multiple returns to the counter can be good value at £11.50 per person and £5.50 for children. Drinks come via servers.
