Timna Restaurant Review:
Timna, named for a town in Yemen, serves modern takes on Israeli cuisine. Sip some wine --- nearly every bottle is offered by the glass --- and graze on shakshuka at lunch, very good patatas bravas, and a decent but somewhat forgettable burger. At dinner, indulge in inventive Jerusalem artichoke soup, Bedouin octopus (paired with hummus and eggplant purée), and tender lamb saddle. Chocolate mousse with a caramelized banana is a topnotch sweet finish.
